Viviane was still just an infant when she was discovered in the Idias Forest in Carneth. She was taken by an elderly woman who was incapable of having children for her own. The woman, Creiwy Breaglach, took the infant Viviane to her castle where the woman and her husband, Arthur, adopted the baby and named her after an ancient Carneth Queen. When they discovered Viviane’s gifts, they studied magic intensely in order to teach her. She has a firm love of animals and quickly became a vegetarian, being taught that life was better than killing them and eating them no less…she has grown to turn hunters into her enemies. Eventually, Arthur became bed-ridden and gave his title and lands to Viviane who leads the forest and villages of Idias under the guidance of Creiwy.
