History:
Aneira was born to King Alfred's wife, Sathaira. Her birth was long, ending with the new Queen's death. Rather than taking yet another wife to care for his children, he had asked his brother to keep his family in residence in the castle. Accepting the request, it was up to Marbella to look after the young prince and princess while maintaining her own two children. Unlike her cousin Cathryn, Aneira never took a liking to the daily pastimes of normal noblewomen...preferring the art of weaponry instead her father agreed to let her train with her brother and other cousin. She also sought heavy training in magic; her mother's powers had skipped over Owain (In the Adallomine Family, it is quite common for powers to pass over certain members). This was the first major difference that kept her emotionally separate from her father and brother.
Around the age of seven, she began to have dreams...dreams that ended up coming true. At first she wasn't sure anyone would believe her since the gift of the seer was so rare, but one day during her training with the Court Wizard, Balan de Vitré, her secret came out. He said it was to be expected since her mother also had a gift other than her normal powers; Sathaira was a gifted mind-reader. Aneira is grateful to Balan for his help and often seeks him out for advice.
More recently she has begun to slowly grow against her father's rule. He prolongs his ancestor's war with Carneth. He will not hesitate to imprison anyone who even questions his decisions. And if he expects anyone with the slightest inclining of treason, he will immediately call for the executioner. Despite all of this, he still prides himself as a good and just king...something Aneira can no longer bring herself to recognize. She has some faith in Owain's goodness and believes that when its time for him to take the throne, it will be for the betterment of all.
