After your application has been approved, you are required to complete a Story Arc of your character before posting. This is to make sure our story moves on in a timely fashion. A Story Arc is the outline of your character's story-line, or timeline. Include the title of the thread followed by a short explanation of what it would be about. Your Arc must be split into two sections: Primary Story Arc and Secondary Story Arc.
Primary Story Arc
A Primary Story Arc is the main outline of your story. This must be followed in order, never moving onto the next until you have completed the first. Before you are able to place a request for the next thread, you must request for the thread to be archived. If you require another member's character for a thread, contact them prior to adding it to this list and inform them of the title and what it would be about. If they agree to it, then add it. If they don't, try to work around it or ask someone else. If you have included a non-playing character (with the owner's permission unless they are canons) within your Primary Arc, and they become played by another member, then message them and tell them why they are essential to your Arc with a description of the thread(s) they'd appear in. They should comply with your Arc. If a thread is already in place and the character ends up being played, you may ask them to continue that thread with you or archive it and recreate it.
Secondary Story Arc
A Secondary Story Arc is any thread you'll be participating in which doesn't directly affect your Primary Story Arc. If you will be participating in someone else's Primary Story Arc, that thread would be classified under Secondary for you. You and your writing partner(s) can have your collaboration thread under this section, if it doesn't affect your Primary Story Arc. If you have included a non-playing character (with the owner's permission unless they are canons) your Secondary Arc, and they become played by another member, then message them with a description of the thread(s) they'd appear in. They should then choose to participate or not. If a thread is already in place and the character ends up being played, you may ask to have the thread archived or continue on with the member, depending on if they have agreed to it or not.
Please remember if you want to use another member's non-playing characters in either of your Arcs, you must ask them prior to adding it...also if the owner of the characters agrees to let them be involved with your Arcs, then they will play them by putting their name in brackets on the title section. Please go here to read the policy on creating other member's non-playing characters.
You may edit your Story Arc as you see fit by adding threads or removing them.
