Most days were calm, or so Owain thought. Today he had decided to go into town to make sure that he remembered to pick up a gift for his servant. The small blond haired child was almost like a daughter to the prince, not that he'd admit someone held a soft spot in him. He decided that going out for the day to one of the local towns would be good for them. He would take her out to see the sights of the city. Before the prince even thought much about it they were on his large charger, a horse known more so as a knights horse than anything else. Owain had his arm wrapped securely around Abby's waist while the other held the reigns securely. Of course the prince knew they were being shadowed, it wasn't like his father would agree to a day out without at least one knight to protect him in case things got too dangerous. You never knew who was truly against your country until it was too late most times. The ride was relaxing enough, keeping a level gaze over the country side as the rode Owain seemed to be in a good mood, if for nothing else he'd enjoy a day out with his servant.
When they did get to town, Owain slowed the horse to a slow trot, looking at the houses before smiling. "What do you think Abby, is this a nice town for our day out?" He asked waiting to hear how she'd reply to him. In all honesty the prince treated his servant much better than most nobles did, royalty on the other hand was known for being worse. "We could see if there's new dolls in the toy makers shop." He commented softly while loosening his hold o Abby. Today he wasn't concerned about fighting, sure there was always the background notion of someone lurking in the shadows but most times... Everything was calm for him. Finally they were near the market, people were surprised to see the Prince but none of them seemed angered or upset, just surprised. Owain gazed evenly about before looking back to the knight who had been trailing him.
"Take the horses to the stable." That was all he said as he got off of his horse, placing Abby on the ground delicately.
